Preheat the oven to 180C.
6 Large, Extra Large or Jumbo New Generation Eggs (one size does not fit all, after all...)
Whisk the eggs and half cup of fresh cream.
Soak the ciabatta in the egg mixture for a few minutes.
Roll the ciabatta in almonds on both sides.
Heat butter in a pan over medium to high heat. Fry the bread on both sides until golden brown.
Finish in the oven for ~5 minutes.
Pair with your favourite coffee in the morning.
